Wordless Wednesday – The Latest Fashion Must-Have

July 10, 2013 By: mamagrace7121 Comments

Forget what you read in Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar.

Don’t bother turning to the likes of Victoria Beckham or any other celebrity fashion trend-setter.

You can find the latest fashion must-have at Sydney’s Paddy’s Market.

WW Onsie 1

Yes, folks. It’s the many-of-a-kind ONESIE.

Depending on your mood, you can either be an Angry Bird or Tigger

And if you can’t decide, why not buy a whole wardrobe? Choose from an array of frogs, cows, zebras, even Pikachu. Even love hearts for those nights of Bow Chica Bow Wow.

WW Onesie 2

And to answer your burning question…

WW Onesie 3

Yes. People do actually wear them in public.

Wordless Wednesday – Choppy Waters

February 6, 2013 By: mamagrace7118 Comments

Despite the tumultuous weather on Sunday, we decided to brave the dark clouds and head over to Manly.

It takes two ferry ride for us to get there.

The first saw lots of excitement and anticipation.

Ferry Ride 1

The second proved to be rather choppy and the crashing waves turned a tummy or two.

Ferry Ride 2

But it seemed that one twinlet is like me, and doesn’t mind a rocking boat so much.

Ferry Ride 3

While, the other is just like his dad…

Ferry Ride 4

Do you or your children get seasick?

P.S Don’t forget, if you live in or visiting Sydney, make the most of the Sydney Family Funday Sunday ticket. $2.50 for unlimited access on all public transport including ferries. Children under the age of 3 are free!

Meet ya at the finish line

August 15, 2012 By: mamagrace7118 Comments

Last Sunday was the much anticipated City2Surf run.

It was my third race in a row but definitely the most memorable because I got to catch up with this lovely lady at the finish line…

No wonder I was a little starry eyed!  Well done, Trish!

It’s that time of year…

July 31, 2012 By: mamagrace7124 Comments

…when you wonder,”Where has the year gone?” But at the same time think, “Christmas can’t get here soon enough!”

Anyway, that’s what going through my mind when I was collaborating my July Photo A Day Challenge mosaic.

As with many, I’m just tired, I guess. And that’s bound to happen when you’ve just hauled through 7 months of the year.

Fave photo? Day 1 – Selfie. Yup, that’s me with a Blogopolis hangover.

Most popular? Day 20 – Eye.  The “apples of my eye” in their bright orange and yellow sloppy joes.

Highlights? This is the month the twinlets turn 2 and a half. Two. AND a half!!! Oh my, I think I need to have a lie down…

How was your July ?

The Ungodly Hour

July 24, 2012 By: mamagrace7131 Comments

Last month, I signed up for personal training sessions again.

6am starts. In the dead of winter. Not very smart, am I ?

And just in case you were wondering, this is what 5:30am looks like…

Anyway, the training’s been great. I’m up against four guys and yes, the Rocky Balboa competitive chick in me is making sure I whip their princess butts.

Afterwards, while feeling victorious and pumped up with endorphins, I witness this…

 And this…

And these…

They say behind every dark cloud there’s a silver lining. I say, after trudging through that ungodly hour, there’s always a beautiful sunrise.

Kites, hopes and dreams

July 18, 2012 By: mamagrace7142 Comments

As you venture through life’s wonders,

Its dangers and delights,

Hold tight onto your dreams,

And run with all your might.

For like a kite,

Release those fearless hopes into the sky,

To roam and dance through the carefree wind,

Yet, steadily guided by sunset’s light.

Once the storm is over…

July 4, 2012 By: mamagrace7120 Comments

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive.

You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over.

But one thing is certain.

When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in.

That’s what this storm’s all about.”

― Haruki Murakami

Especially for you, Trish.

The imperfect underwater family

June 27, 2012 By: mamagrace7133 Comments

Roughly 4 months ago, right here on Wordless Wednesday, I posted our first underwater family photo.

It went something like this….

Not perfect but we loved it. It was even our Christmas card last year.

Last week, we jumped at the chance to have another one taken.

You would think though, with it being the second time around, we got the hang of it.

Um, not so much….

Maybe we’ll get it right by next Christmas…

A Winter’s Dusk

June 20, 2012 By: mamagrace7132 Comments

Despite the rain and cold, miserable weather that sums up our winter so far, there have been some breathtaking sunsets.

But there’s that window of time – just at the tipping end of dusk – where life seems to just sit perfectly still.

The rays have a softer, gentler feel. The world looks a little more forgiving.

Like a bridge

June 13, 2012 By: mamagrace7126 Comments

I’m on your side,

When times get rough,

And friends just can’t be found,

Like a bridge over troubled water,

I will lay me down,

Like a bridge over troubled water,

I will lay me down…

– Written and composed by Simon and Garfunkel
