Kites, hopes and dreams

July 18, 2012 By: mamagrace7142 Comments

As you venture through life’s wonders,

Its dangers and delights,

Hold tight onto your dreams,

And run with all your might.

For like a kite,

Release those fearless hopes into the sky,

To roam and dance through the carefree wind,

Yet, steadily guided by sunset’s light.

Your boys are doing better than Miss Possum and I. It took a LONNNG time to finally get it into the sky. Did you write that? It’s beautiful Gracie.

It took a couple of attempts to get it right but we eventually got there.
And yup! That was a self-written poem πŸ™‚

Is that your poem? Awesomesauce…not as beautiful as your boys though.
PS – I do hope no one was harmed in the making of this kite-flying adventure?
