The imperfect underwater family

June 27, 2012 By: mamagrace7133 Comments

Roughly 4 months ago, right here on Wordless Wednesday, I posted our first underwater family photo.

It went something like this….

Not perfect but we loved it. It was even our Christmas card last year.

Last week, we jumped at the chance to have another one taken.

You would think though, with it being the second time around, we got the hang of it.

Um, not so much….

Β Maybe we’ll get it right by next Christmas…

Joining in Wordless Wednesday at My Little Drummer Boys. Β

Sending light, love (and hopefully) a little laughter to Trish xxx

I don’t know about imperfect, because these look pretty perfect to me!!
Never in a million years would I have thought to have an underwater family photo, and you’ve had two!

Ha! Thanks, Tracey! We’re really fortunate that the pool where the boys take swimming lessons has a lady who comes over every 4 months to take photos. It’s always a lot of fun πŸ™‚

What? They have a photographer at the pool now? This is awesome! I want to get an underwater family photo. It may be a little harder with five though.

Yeah, our swimming pool where the boys take lessons has an underwater photographer who comes over every few months to take photos of the students and their families. It’s so much fun πŸ™‚

What great photos! Underwater camera’s are so much fun. Sadly ours didn’t turn out to be as waterproof as it should have been though

The photographer tells us what to do. She goes under first, then we count to 3 then go under. To pose, she just told us to look at each other and smile…easy, huh ? 😐 For the second one, I think she was trying to get a little more ambitious…telling us to take a step forward. That didn’t happen…as you can see πŸ˜‰

Thats cool, I like how you are all in the same swimming costumes. How cool to get one every year to see the boys grow.
