Deeply set in the grey southern sky,
Isolated between destinations.
Billowing clouds hang low,
Longing to be touched.
Rigidly fixed in their rightful place,
Rugged rocks, rusty nails,
Robust railway tracks,
Hiding the unknown past.
Lost in secluded time,
Bound in majestic mystery,
Remaining resolute within the ruggedness,
Beauty in the desolate.
Joining Trish at My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday
Hi Grace, a thoughtful post this week. I bet those tracks have some stories to tell.
