Happy Friday, my lovelies !
This is the first time I joined in on a link so I’m extremely excited yet nervous at the same time.
Driven from Yay For Home ! the idea is to write what I know from this past week.
So, here it is….
I know:
- There is power in the support of the mummy bloggers community.
- I know that from the moment I shut the door after tucking my twinlets for their afternoon nap, they are up to no good. I hear a lot of giggling and jibber jabber chit chat until they finally settle down to sleep – half an hour later.
- I know that despite it being a premix, Banana Loaf is scrumptious and because this particular one is gluten free I don’t feel too guilty eating that extra slice.
- I know that one of the secrets to successfully getting back to my running and fitness is motivation and encouragement from others.
- I know that I’m really blessed that after almost 2 weeks of hibernation and quarantine, the twinlets are finally recovering and are ready for some sunshine this weekend.
- I know that I’m excited to be going to the movies with Hubby for date night. We haven’t been to the movies together in almost a year and a half ! “Avatar” was our last movie. The twinlets were madly kicking in my tummy, reacting to the heavy bass and vibrations from the movie soundtrack. I needed to take a pee every half hour !
Have a great weekend, everyone !
Welcome to the linky world! I have so much fun doing them 🙂
I’ve thought a little about having twins since I met you and it never occurred to me that bed time is like having a sleep over every time you put them down!
Hope you have an awesome time at the movies and you and hubby have a ball 🙂
Happy Weekend!
You know some excellent things!
I love this blogger community we inhabit. I’m a relative newbie but have felt so supported and embraced. It’s just awesome 🙂
Have a great weekend!
I’m glad you joined in-hope it wasn’t too scary 😉
I’m off to the movies with my husband next weekend and it’s SUCH a rarity that I’m already excited
It wasn’t scary at all ! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it 🙂
We didn’t make it to the movies in the end, but still had a lovely night out – childfree 🙂
Enjoy your movie night !
I love this. I might just have to link up later:) Encouragement from others is what helps me do everything!
Enjoy your movie, a date night sounds heavenly. Must organise one with my hubby soon 🙂
I’ve had a few nights lately when the kids had to ‘sleep’ in the same room… impossible! They can happily stay awake and playing for hours! What saves me is that one of them sooner or later needs to go to the toilet. The other one falls instantly asleep in the few minutes it takes to get to the toilet and back.
I hope you loved the movie and the time without kids.
