Swimming class mornings used to be sheer chaos in this house. Scrambling to pack bags, shoving toast down the twinlets’ mouths, all in vain to make the 8:00 class.
Then, came an ingenious idea: Take them straight to the pool…in their pj’s. Problem solved.
We get a few strange stares. Meh.
You do what it takes, to make life easier…and keep you sane 🙂

We have an early morning swim class, too. Heaps of people bring their kids along in their PJs to our swimming lessons, too (us included!!) – it makes sense to me!

I used to do the exact same thing when my girls were small…got a few smiles from others as well. My 9 year old would just die of embarrassment if I took her to swim squad in her PJs now!

Yes, I think there might be a cut off age for sending children to swimming in PJ’s. I guess I should just make the most of it 🙂
I would have thought it’s quite a normal thing to do for such an early class! And yes, they do look so cute together especially in that pose ;p

Actually, it was Hubby’s idea…I wish I could take the credit for it ! And yes, I agree with you ! Why can’t we wear pi’s in public ??? When and who made it a rule ??! 🙂
Ha ha…when I run out of time I have been know to take dinner with me for the children to eat in the car, my son had done his violin practice in the sidewalk while waiting for his sister to finish her speech and drama lesson…actually I could write a whole blog post on this idea. cute photo by the way

I love it! Fantastic Idea! I put the kids on the bus though, so not sure how they’d go getting on the bus in PJ’s! I always take PJs to parties and dress them in them before we leave so I can put them stright to bed.

Nice idea! As long as their pajamas look cute as those, they’re good to go and you’re going to remove their clothes when you get to the pool anyway. Less laundry to handle. 🙂
