Happy New Year!
As you read this, we will be in crazy Tokyo town catching a bullet train to the mountains of rural north Japan – a place so far away from Tokyo that it’s closer to Vladivostok, Russia. Yes, RUSSIA!
Anyway, this is our second attempt on going on holiday.
We had to cancel our initial booking as someone *ahems* decided to go for a lunchtime jog but instead tripped over an uneven footpath THEN tumbled down the stairs directly ahead.
Yup. All within 2 days before due to flying out.
Yup. Baaaad high ankle sprain.
Yup. Devastated.
Lucky for travel insurance.
So, it’s pretty literal when I say “Tokyo or BUST”
Say, “Aye” if you’re also glad 2015 is done and dusted?
Let the good times roll in 2016, I say! Just need to make sure that it is good times that are rolling and not ankles…
The Fears, Tears and Belly Laughs series will continue for the next 3 weeks so make sure you link up and welcome the guest bloggers with big virtual hugs and lots of comment love.
