You might know that I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie.
I have my scuba diver’s license, I own a snowboard and I love going trekking.
If you weren’t aware, you will be now.
Last weekend I went on a mountain hike, did the Rocky Balboa run…and froze my tatas off.
Here’s the vlog to prove it.
Honestly, the things I do for you guys…
Okay, Floggers! You know the drill…

When I started watching your blog at 5.30am, I thought to myself, I’m going to kill Grace if she wakes up my kids up. After I quickly turned the music down I watched you (not at your best but with super cute sleepy eyes) doing something spectacular (not the dance) that would inspire me to become more active. I love doing those things but just don’t make time. I’m going to make time. I will. Promise!
I promise, PROMISE to never run the risk of waking up your kids ever again with one of my vlogs. Or better yet…just have a pair of headphones ready 😉
Glad to hear I’ve inspired you…despite seeing the unglamorous moi 🙂 x
You’re awesome!! What a fabulous way to spend a Sunday morning (not that I’d actually do it though – happy to leave it to the fit people…). How gorgeous are hot air balloons?!
Kate @ Our Little Sins recently posted..day 23 | 100 Pantone postcards project
So glad we caught those hot air balloons ! Really made the climb worth it. I love doing the climb anyway but it made great vlog content 🙂
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your gorgeous post. I wish I was seeing you at Blogopolis, Kate. Would’ve given you a huge bear hug xoxo
Love this. Think you are crazy but love it. Hope your tatas recovered 😛

Haha, thanks Nee! Glad you like it. And my tatas are now fully recovered. Thanks for the concern 😉
You freak! What sane woman would do that in the freezing cold!!! 😉

I am a freak. But like I said yesterday…it was well and truly worth it 🙂
I’m LOVING your vlogs! Here’s hoping that your tata’s are nice and warm today 😀 xo

Thanks, Cassandra! My tata’s are in excellent form today 😉 xxx
Ha ha! If that Rocky run didn’t warm you up Grace, nothing will!!
Even though it’s hard to get up at that ungodly hour of the morning, it is beautiful when you’re up and see the sun come up (if it’s not too cloudy)!
You deserved that chai latte 🙂

That run certainly got me a little warmer…my hands on the other hand, were frozen! Hence, the big warm up with the chai latte.
But yes, overall it was a spectacular morning 🙂
Very funny, and I always warm up with a moonwalk 😉
Carli recently posted..No Posts Were Found!
Yes, it’s the secret of all warm ups, the moonwalk 😉
If I ran that fast up a stairs I might just faint at the top!! Gosh I love your zest for life 🙂

You know what warms the tatas in the wee early hours of a freezing winter’s morning? BED. Bed and irish coffee. You’re welcome xx

LOL! Bed’s boring!!! But the Irish Coffee isn’t 😉 xxx
Lol Grace – love your moves! You make me laugh 🙂 All the Grace’s I know are a little crazy (in a good way) and lots of fun! You’re inspiring me to vlog…one day, one day…

That was hilarious. My little one fifteen month old crawled all the way from the playroom and we watched the second half together!
Love the warm ups, the John travolta and of course your tatas. 🙂
You are a uber super natural vlogger!

Haha! I bet your little one heard the Rocky theme and got all inspired 😉
Glad that you got a laugh. The warm ups and John Travolta thing were impromptu…but the tatas were always fully intact 😉
p.s. That chai latte must’ve been GOOD.

So, this is where you and I, as teenagers, discover we are not twins separated at birth. Because I am most definitely NOT an adrenaline junkie. But I am a good friend, and I would be the wind beneath your winds instead.

LOL! Thanks, Rachel. A crazy adrenaline junkie likes me needs a twin to be the wind 😉

Getting out of bed’s the hard part…but once you’re out there enjoying the fresh air and the no-children time…it makes it all worth it 🙂

As crazy as it sounds, that does look like a pretty awesome way to spend a Sunday morning. I love the view at the end – and the chai 🙂
