FYBF – The Jet Lag and James Dean Edition

November 29, 2013 By: mamagrace7129 Comments

As defined by Urban Dictionary:

Jet Lag

“The effects of having to quickly become accustomed to routine in another time zone and also of altitude changes. Causes fatigue.

According to the World of Mama G:

“Complete screw up of sleep patterns caused by torturous red eye flights and minimal yet significant changes in time zones resulting in screaming banshees waking up in hourly intervals from midnight to 3 am, only to eventually resolved with jam on toast and continuous bodgey Balinese DVD loopbacks of “Planes”

Awesome!

Landing back to the shores of home, I made it just in time for the glamorous Mrs Holsby‘s “Cook Once, Feed All” book launch.

Mrs Holsby

An opportune time to drink some champagne catch up with the lovely gals, Kim from Falling Face First and Mumabulous, there was a smoochy moment with the Rebel himself.

FYBF Jet Lag and James Dean

Just don’t tell Mr Surfer, ‘k???

And on the topic of parties and bloggers, I’m plotting this year’s Digital Parents Sydney Bloggers Christmas Shindig.

Giving away no secrets but perhaps just a small tease…Hands up those who would like canapés and champagne whilst gazing out to this view???  Yeah, thought so.

Watsons Bay

Stay tuned for the happy deets!

I can’t imagine having to deal with jet lag with kids. Ewww! And what is it with kids and them wanting to watch the same thing over and over and over?

Looking forward to hearing more about the DP Christmas drinks, do you know what date it will be? Seriously hope I can finally make it again!

Yeah jet lag is not the best thing ever especially with little ones! DVDs are a good thing as well as take sways. I think that the coming home holiday blues are the worst!
