What happens when you get a bunch of bloggers, their partners and relatives together answering trivia questions for a great cause?
A bloody feisty team that knows a helluva lot of useless information! And yes, living up to our awesome team name, “Smartini’s”, we won!
A few shakey moments, though.
This is the face of a Brit when asked “What’s Australia’s National Flower ?”
“What’s Wattle???”
And the sore point of the evening when no one believed Mr Surfer had the right answer to “What did Australian Scientist Howard Florey invent?”
Unconvinced his “Penicillin” answer was correct, it was changed at the last minute to “Cochlear Implant” by and oh dear, that caused all sorts of team dissent. Because guess what? Mr Surfer was actually right!
Precious Hearts is a charity that’s not only close to Daisy’s heart, it’s been the saving grace for her own little boy’s on countless touch and go situations.
Helping out families with children of congenital heart diseases, it was a great honour to be part of last night’s Trivia Night alongside Daisy, Catherine and Emma and our respective families
Goes to show what a bunch of bloggers are capable of.
