Last Tuesday night I went to what was without a doubt, the BEST concert I’ve EVER been to.
Prince is still as talented today as he was back then in the 80’s and 90’s…and then some.
From his opening act of “Purple Rain” to his 4 encores, I was in a flood of emotion, overwhelmed by all the music and amazing stage lighting.
So blown away by the magic of the evening, I’ve still yet to write a post about it. In the meantime, I made a mosaic out of some of my photos.
Turned out to be a pretty rainbow of songs and now… precious memories.
What’s the most memorable concert you’ve ever been to ?

I wasn’t at all jealous when I heard people were going to the prince concert but now I think I am and it’s too late. I’ve heard raving reviews! I’m looking forward to reading yours but it was obviously fanatstic. Looks like you had good seats.

We actually had crap seats, Pen! That was the amazing thing! We sat waaaay at the back but the Acer Arena is just amazing and the stage and the massive screens just made it great for us plebs at the back π

Jealous. I heart Prince. Those photos look amazing – great idea to group them like that. Better than paying thousands for artwork – print, frame, mount them exactly the same way!

I’ve never been more jealous of you. Not ever.
I think the most memorable concert was this last one Dallas and I went to. We saw the Zac Brown Band in Houston just before we went to Belize. It was a special night. I get weepy just thinking about it.

My most memorable concert I didn’t actually attend. My boyfriend, now husband, called me up during our song, one of my favourite songs ever, at a Dashboard concert. I was 2000kms away but it was awesome!

That looks fantastic! I have vague memories of him but Prince still strikes me as one of the most iconic musician. Is he known as Prince again?

I was never a fan of Prince, but I love my 80s music. In December 2010 I went to U2 and Bon Jovi in the same week. (I’m more of a rock chick than a pop chick) It was beyond the scale of awesomeness. Of the two, I reckon Bon Jovi was the better performance on the night. But U2 was HUGE!

Ooooh!!! 2 major 80’s rock bands ! Whatta week that would’ve been! I was both rock and pop for the 80’s. Would’ve loved to have seen U2…Hopefully, it’s not too late. Although, I hear Bon Jovi does indeed still rock it big time π
Lee says
I have been to Glastonbury twice. So much awesomeness over 4 days! One off concert – possibly Bon Jovi in Hyde Park in 2005. xx

And you just proved that Bon Jovi rocked it in the Noughties as well as they did in the 80’s and 90’s π
